Higher Law Degree. Complutense University of Madrid (1999). PhD Carlos III University of Madrid (2008, Prize of the Royal Academy of Spanish PhD  & Extraordinary Doctorate Award). Since 2015 she is a Associate Professor of Procedural Law at the Autonomous University of Madrid.
Her main research lines are the Challenges of Criminal Procedure in the XXI Century; the instruments of Criminal Judicial Cooperation within the EU; the problems of Spanish Judicial System, etc. In that scenario she has participated in several national and international research projects.
